Jim Bartsch is an architectural and corporate photographer based in Santa Barbara, California.
His clientele consists of advertising agencies, hotel companies, interior designers,architects, magazines, and corporations along with other industries and professions. His career got a jump start upon graduation from Brooks Institute of Photography in 1988 when he was contracted to do photography for a company that produces high quality marketing brochures for exclusive real estate. The exposure created quick name recognition.
Jims work has appeared in Audio/Video Interiors, Stereophile Guide to Home Theatres, Town & Country, Architectural Digest, Elle Decor and numerous trade publications.
Photography has presented Jim the opportunity to travel to over 30 different countries. Photo assignments have taken him to South and Central America and Switzerland. A self assignment in January of 1998 lead him into the Inner Mongolian region of China to photograph steam trains and the lifestyle of the people. During the fall of 96 he was the instructor of photography for Semester at Sea, a shipboard education program organized by the University of Pittsburgh, that travels around the world. |
